Advanced Medical Support Receives Award From JDRA

The Juvenile Diabetes Research Association has awarded the 2008 Bronze Award to Advanced Medical Support, a national diabetic support program. AMS has developed and supported disease management programs for juvenile diabetics since 1996.

The 2008 Walk to Cure Diabetes held in March in West Palm Beach, Florida raised more than $775,000 for diabetes research and education.

Juvenile Diabetes Research Association funding and leadership is associated with most major scientific breakthroughs in Type 1 diabetes to date. The JDRF provided more than $122 million in diabetes research for FY2006.
