Apprenticeship partnership allows NTI's students opportuity to gain real-world experience in the Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning field.

Northeast Technical Institute has formed a partnership with Johnson & Jordan, Inc of Scarborough, Maine to provide apprenticeships for NTI's HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) program. Johnson & Jordan has gained a reputation as one of the leading mechanical contractors, in Maine and New Hampshire, specializing in commercial, hospital and educational projects.

Johnson & Jordan is a full service mechanical contractor with in-house engineering services and an accredited employee training and educational program to ensure highly skilled workforce and installation quality. Partnering with Northeast Technical Institutes new HVAC program was an obvious choice considering both companies commitment to a well educated workforce.

Johnson and Jordan are committed to providing uncompromised service, design, installation and support to the industry. Northeast Technical Institute is proud to compliment and provide this company and the industry as a whole with a HVAC program that implements the approved curriculum of North American Technician Excellence (NATE) Organization As a result, NTI is an authorized NATE approved training and testing center. NTI students will be trained and eligible to be NATE nationally certified technicians.

Students will receive the highest quality classroom education in HVAC installation and services at NTI and then continue at Johnson and Jordan in an apprenticeship program to get real hands-on experience in the field with experienced technicians in various settings. This partnership will produce a well trained and much needed workforce for this industry. The average starting annual salary for entry level HVAC technicians is $39,100.00.*

Since 1982, Northeast Technical Institute, with campuses throughout Maine and Massachusetts, has been training and placing professionals all over New England. With its short-term, hands-on approach to training, NTI graduates are job-ready, may earn national certification and are prepared to meet the industry's overwhelming need and demands for qualified professionals. The school offers in demand training for a range of medical programs including Medical Assistant, Medical Transcription, Medical Coding and Billing and Phlebotomy. Classes start each month for CDL driving courses and they offer a variety of courses in Information Technology.
