Synergy Consulting Collaborative, a group of senior New England consultants, believes that companies investing today in teaching managers how to keep their people motivated and productive will not have to radically change course when the economy improves.
Synergy Consulting Collaborative [SCC] has created a training program: Coach to Succeed, to help managers more effectively engage employees through one-on-one coaching in addition to traditional performance management techniques. Through their executive coaching experience, Joanne Dustin and Liz Vogel observed that many of the techniques and tools they use as coaches were adopted and applied by their manager clients, strengthening their relationships with their employees, leading to greater commitment and higher performance. SCC decided to share this experience with others by developing the Coach to Succeed program.
In an intense 4-hour workshop, SCC coaches engage the participants by demonstrating how to coach effectively, then providing the participants with opportunities to try coaching in simulations of their own real-life situations. Following the workshop, the SCC coaches continue to support the participants in one-on-one coaching sessions to assure their success.
