Blythe Cotton Maling joins QuantumMethod as partner and director of QuantumMethod's Nonprofit & Grantmaking Consulting Practice. QuantumMethod supports nonprofits from the inside out, and maximizes the investment and impact of grantmakers, by harnessing the power of integrated strategy, communication and design. We deliver complete solutions to nonprofit organizations, foundations, corporations, and individual philanthropists.

QuantumMethod announced today the appointment of Blythe Maling as partner. With more than a dozen years working in and as an advocate for the nonprofit sector, Maling will lead QuantumMethod's burgeoning Nonprofit & Grantmaker Consulting Practice.

Prior to joining QuantumMethod, Maling served as a consultant for a number of nonprofits in the Los Angeles area. In addition, she served for 11 years as Vice President, Development and Marketing, for Para Los Niños, a nonprofit family service organization designed to bring children from some of Los Angeles' most challenging communities out of poverty and into brighter, more successful futures. During her tenure at Para Los Niños, she more than tripled annual support, led multiple successful capital campaigns, and created a major gifts program.

She holds a master's degree from the Annenberg School of Communication at the University of Southern California, and a bachelor's degree in child development from the University of California, Berkeley. She holds a certificate from the University of California, Los Angeles in public relations, and participated in UCLA's certificate fundraising program.

A Southern California native, Maling is active in the Los Angeles community. She is a member of the Juniors of Social Service and the benefit committee for St. James Inn. She served on the Marlborough School Alumnae Council, was a member of the Junior League of Los Angeles, and was a mentor for Girls Today Women Tomorrow program serving inner-city girls.
