RateItAll Expands Its Consumer Rating Footprint with a Bebo Application

Distributed consumer rating company RateItAll launches an application for Bebo.

Consumer review web site RateItAll (http://www.rateitall.com) today announced that it had expanded its reach by introducing a consumer rating application for the social networking site Bebo (http://www.bebo.com). The RateItAll Bebo application joins the company's MySpace and Facebook applications as important extensions of the company's footprint.

"Our goal is to allow people to access RateItAll's giant database of reviews on their favorite sites whether to contribute their own opinions or to read the thoughts of others," says RateItAll CEO Lawrence Coburn. "We don't think that folks should have to come to RateItAll.com to join the conversation."

RateItAll's consumer rating applications are based around the concept of "compatibility". Friends on Bebo, MySpace, and Facebook can express their tastes in categories such as movies, music, and apparel by rating multiple items within a category. Their ratings are then compared with their friends' ratings to generate a compatibility score. Participants can also check their compatibility scores against people outside of their network.

"The concept of people discovery is an important part of an online social network," says Coburn. "We think our compatibility applications are fantastic tools for meeting new people who share your interests."
