CCS Imports (http://www.ccsimports.co.uk) announced that with a CCTV camera and their newly released H.264 DVR, schools can put a curb on the criminal activity that occurs on their property.
The company has noted the recent problem of students carrying weapons to school. They were concerned about the problem and decided they would help to fix it. That is when they started installing their equipment at schools in order to cut down on the crime and vandalism. The company states that the security equipment has helped greatly, as it allows faculty and staff to know everything that is occurring on the school grounds. By keeping a better eye on the students, the company believes that schools will become a safer place.
With the use of the CCTV camera, schools can use access control in selected parts of the building. They can decide whether to let a person pass into the controlled area after viewing their picture on the monitor. It will allow the school to know if the person should be on the property. The company believes this will give schools a greater degree of security in what they refer to as a dangerous time.
CCS Imports also stated that with the release of their new H.264 DVR, school administrators will have the proof needed to file charges against those who are involved in criminal activity on school grounds. They stated that schools can use the video as evidence when going to the police. The company said this will also work as a great deterrent to criminal activities on school grounds.
The St. Richard Gwyn Catholic High School is one of the schools that use equipment from CCS Imports. Head teacher Derek Doran stated, "It has been useful to provide the police with evidence of unauthorized access and damage to school property. It has particularly proved to be useful when tackling the issue of motorbikes using the school playing fields. The quality of the system and its recording quality seem to be of a very high standard and we are pleased to demonstrate the system to other schools."
