Sueda joins Littler from Trucker Huss, where her practice focused on executive compensation and equity compensation, non-qualified deferred compensation plans, stock option plans, employee stock purchase plans, restricted stock plans, change in control plans, and executive employment, retention and severance agreements. She has provided advice and counseling to employers regarding mergers and acquisitions, including golden parachute issues and conversion of stock options. Sueda is also highly experienced with executive and equity compensation compliance matters.

"Ellen will be a valuable addition to our San Francisco office. She is a first-rate lawyer and a team player who will fit seamlessly into the office and the firm. We are thrilled to have her join us," said San Francisco Office Managing Shareholder, Rich Hill.

Sueda has lectured on executive compensation and equity compensation matters, including presentations to the San Francisco Chapter of NASPP. She received her B.S. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1988, her J.D. from Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College in 1996, where she became a member of Cornelius Honor Society and Asian Pacific-Islander Lawyers Association, and her LL.M. from the University of Florida College of Law - Graduate Tax Program in 1997. She is admitted to practice in California.

"I am extremely excited about joining one of the most prominent employment firms in the nation. Littler's geographic reach and depth of practice, along with the resources it devotes to serving its clients, are extraordinary. The firm's business model is also very conducive to serving existing clients," said Sueda.
