The Kalamazoo Regional Chamber of Commerce, which serves the Southwest Michigan Region, announced plans today to hold a new and innovative type of job fair for businesses and job seekers. The job fair, which will be held from 10:00am to 3:00pm EST, September 10th, will be held entirely online.
This electronic job fair, produced in partnership with eJobFairs.net, allows job seekers to interview with employers live, one-on-one, and right from their computers desktop. This innovative method of hosting a job fair will help local employers connect with employment candidates, make the event easier to access for out of town candidates interested in relocating and even reduce carbon emissions by negating the need for either job seekers or employers to drive to an event.
The electronic job fair will be open to Chamber members and non-members to help them with their hiring and recruitment needs.
