Most importantly, author Mindy Henderson has compiled over 300 of the best recipes from the finest food festivals the south has to offer, including: The Chicken and Egg Festival - Moulton, Ala.; The West Virginia Strawberry Festival - Buckhannon, W.Va.; Shrimp and Grits: The Wild Georgia Shrimp Festival - Jekyll Island, Ga.; The Cornbread Festival - South Pittsburgh, Tenn. and The Houston Hot Sauce Festival - Houston, Tex.
