CommonPlaces is proud to be a Silver Sponsor of Drupalcon Szeged 2008, in Szeged, Hungary. Hundreds of Web professionals will gather at the international conference to discuss the future of Drupal as a Web Content Management System. This is CommonPlaces' first time sponsoring the event.
As a Drupal developer, CommonPlaces takes a great interest in Drupalcon, and places a great value on attending the gathering. "DrupalCon gives people the opportunity to not only improve their knowledge through valuable learning sessions, but to participate in the community and improve Drupal itself," said Erich Beyrent, VP of Engineering at CommonPlaces.
Beyrent will be presenting at Drupalcon on the subject of Drupal Security. His presentation, "Hack-Proof Your Drupal App - Key Habits of Secure Drupal Coding," will be a part of the Code development track of the conference.
Drupalcon is a four day event featuring an informative conference, an "unconference," where participants can interact more freely, and an exhibition where companies can recruit and interact. All of this is intended to build the large, active community of people that can ensure the continuing success of Drupal.
