Making it to round two of Forbes.com's Boost Your Business contest is a great accomplishment for AirGenerate and all of the other semi-finalists
Houston (PRWEB) August 6, 2008
Only twenty companies out of 1,500 entrants have advanced to the second stage of Forbes' "Boost Your Business" contest. AirGenerate, manufacturer and distributor of patented energy saving water heaters, is the only firm from Texas on that list.
"Making it to round two of Forbes.com's Boost Your Business contest is a great accomplishment for AirGenerate and all of the other semi-finalists," said Forbes.com Entrepreneurs Editor Brett Nelson. "Passing muster with our readers will be an even tougher challenge - as will conveying their business prospects on all of 30 seconds on video."
From the 20 semi-finalists who made it to the second round of the contest, five finalists will be selected to compete for the grand prize. Those five finalists will be flown to New York City to give live presentations to an expert panel of judges. The winner will receive $100,000 in cash. Runners-up will be awarded HP products and services.
The voting is now open, and all of the submissions, along with AirGenerate's self-recorded 30-second "elevator pitch" videos, are available for review at http://www.forbes.com/byb. Voting for the second round runs through the end of September.
According to Jaspreet (Rick) Pal, Co-Founder and CEO of AirGenerate, "We are grateful to Forbes for this opportunity. The next step for us is to garner enough votes to make it to finals. Our products have potential to save billions of dollars and reduce billions of pounds of carbon dioxide every year. AirTap™ water heaters are the most efficient, affordable, and convenient system available. They can also work with existing water heaters. We have a great track record with installations all over North America and several strategic partnerships in place. We hope our customers and supporters will visit Forbes.com to vote for us."
