The Social Times (http://www.socialtimes.com) is pleased to announce its first major event in New York City titled the "Social Ad Summit" on September 15, 2008 at The Tribeca Rooftop located at 2 Desbrosses St. just off the Holland Tunnel. The venue is a new and spectacular 15,000 square foot penthouse which features views of the Empire State Building, the Hudson River and downtown Tribeca.

Social Ad Summit will be a full day conference with seven panels focused on creating dialogue among the industry's top thought leaders. The summit's goal is to help determine the most effective models for advertising on social networks currently and moving forward. This invite only event starts promptly at 8 a.m. with registration and breakfast. The morning's discussions focus on current solutions on social networks. There will also be a panel on media buying and a panel on branded experiences will close out the morning, allowing attendees to have a great topic of discussion during the lunch break. The rest of the day will be used to explore the existing social advertising solutions, widget monetization and alternative social media ad programs.
