Distinguished Pricing Veterans Named to Head Pricing Science and Client Solutions Groups.

Vistaar Technologies, Inc., the leading provider of pricing solutions for sales, marketing and product management groups, today announced the addition of two pricing veterans to key leadership roles. Bill Huyler, Vice-President Pricing Science, will drive Vistaar's pricing science strategy with responsibility for the statistical and optimization capabilities of the company's products and services. Ed Marx, Vice-President Client Solutions, will focus on enabling customers to achieve improved price and margin realization through rapid adoption of pricing best practices.

Mr. Huyler brings over thirty years of experience in the pricing industry. His background includes roles as a pricing thought leader in the automotive and transportation industries, as well as an entrepreneur delivering both strategic consulting services and software solutions. He also served as a re-entry vehicle dynamics engineer on the Apollo and Minuteman IV programs for Northrop Aircraft and AVCO Missile Systems, respectively. He has noted that some of same mathematics used to model flight dynamics is used today to optimize prices.

Mr. Huyler is a long-time figure in the pricing community with many distinguished accomplishments, including a US patent in pricing methodology. He has also been a board member of the Professional Pricing Society.

Mr. Marx comes to Vistaar from Corporate Express, where he held the position of Vice President of Pricing, Margin and Bids. In this role he was responsible for establishing margin and pricing processes, as well as implementing pricing technology solutions. He also served in pricing and finance roles at W.W. Grainger, Inc., holds a BS in Accountancy and is a CPA.
