Jacoby arrives with extensive experience in sales leadership, having spent 16 years in a variety of sales management roles for MCI (now Verizon Business), including Vice President, National Account Sales and General Manager for the managed hosting (formerly Digex) unit of Verizon Business. Most recently, he headed Partner Sales for the service provider practice within GlassHouse Technologies, an IT services company focused on data protection and server virtualization.
Jacoby's expertise in both channel and direct sales is unique in the industry. While overseeing the revitalization of hosting and IT services at MCI, Jacoby developed and implemented an innovative channel program which enabled both the specialized sales and support organization of 100-plus people to leverage MCI's 2000-plus commercial, national and global sales team. He also served as Vice President of several key commercial and national account regions for MCI and has deep experience and relationships in the enterprise marketplace. Jacoby holds a BA in Economics from Dartmouth.
