Austin, TX (PRWEB) August 11, 2008
StoredIQ, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise-class intelligent information management and eDiscovery solutions, today announced that it has expanded its board of directors with the appointment of John Kelley. Kelley's extensive career spans over 25 years of leadership experience in executive management and corporate strategy roles.
"We are very privileged to have John join StoredIQ's board of directors," said James Schellhase, CEO and president of StoredIQ. "John has substantial experience building high-growth, successful companies and his wealth of knowledge and leadership expertise make him an invaluable addition to the team as we rapidly grow and expand the business."
Most recently Kelley served as president and CEO of McData Corporation from 2001 to 2006 and as chairman of the board from 2004 to 2006. During his tenure, he grew the company from $200 million to $630 million annual revenue by modernizing aging company processes and systems to meet compliance standards, launching multiple products globally, and re-structuring the management team. McData was acquired by Brocade Communications Systems in 2006. Kelley also served in executive roles at Qwest Communications, U.S. West, Mead Corporation, Annatek, Alcatel, and Xerox Corporation. He has served on the board of directors for Polycom Corporation, 3Leaf Systems, Aztek Networks, and Captaris Corporation.
"StoredIQ is a tremendously exciting company at the vortex of one of the fastest-growing and most critical areas in enterprise computing," Kelley said. "Recognized as a pioneer in information management, StoredIQ is rapidly building momentum with innovative technology that uniquely positions it to help enterprises realize immediate ROI while meeting legal discovery, compliance and risk management requirements."
Kelley is also highly active in the not-for-profit sector. He currently serves as vice chair of the board of directors at Mount St. Vincent Home, an institution serving children with emotional and behavioral disorders. Since 1997, Kelley has been a board member of the Colorado Women's Vision Foundation "Allies Group" whose mission it is to advance and retain corporate women leaders.
