TierOne Networks Agrees to Acquire Lavon Internet of Lavon, TX

Dallas, Texas: July 28, 2008 - TierOne Networks today announced an agreement to acquire Lavon Internet a Lavon, Texas based Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP). The acquisition represents the second in a series of acquisitions in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for TierOne Networks. The terms were not disclosed and the transaction is expected to close within a few weeks. "The purchase of Lavon Internet represents a significant step toward achieving our goal of creating the largest WISP in the DFW market," said Kevin Weaver, President and CEO of TierOne Networks. "Lavon Internet's coverage area is contiguous to TierOne's existing network and will create the option for Lavon Internet customers to upgrade to higher speeds. Lavon is the second in a rapid series of transactions scheduled to close in 2008 which, taken together, will create the largest WISP in Texas."
