All 4 of these pond filters are complete systems that include a pump, biological and mechanical filtration and spray nozzles, with the Lifegard All-In-One system also containing a UV filter to help with planktonic algae control to help insure clear pond water. All systems are intended for submersed applications and are simple plug and play installation meaning place the filter in the desired location and plug it in.
These pump systems can accommodate ponds up to 2500 gallons according to the manufacturer. UNO pond filters are rated for ponds up to 1000 gallons, DUO systems for ponds up to 1700 gallons and TRIO systems for ponds up to 2500 gallons. An add-on cartridge can be also be added to the UNO and DUO to increase its filtration capacity. The Lifegard All-In-One system is rated for ponds from 300 gallons to 1500 gallons.
