Applied Marketing Science (http://www.ams-inc.com) will be an exhibitor at the 41st Congress of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI), which will held in the U.S. for the first time in 33 years. The Congress - which typically draws upwards of 2,000 participants from around the world - will take place at Boston's Convention and Exhibition Center from September 6-11, 2008. A sampling of topics to be covered at the conference include:
- Damages for Infringement, counterfeiting and piracy of trademarks
- Current issues in the field of domain names
- Rights and restrictions for trademark holders in other countries
- Copyright damages around the world; and
- Tips for reducing the risks of litigation and enhancing the chances for settlement
Exhibits will be open to attendees on Monday and Tuesday, September 8th and 9th, from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; and on Wednesday, September 10th, from 9:00 a.m. until noon.
