Paid Family Leave and Performance Management Sessions Headline Upcoming Hagel & Company Conference for Sage Abra HRMS Users

Hagel & Company, a leading provider of Sage Software's award-winning Sage Abra HRMS (human resource management system) since 1993, today announced Washington State Senator Karen Keiser and Lani Powell of Powell Human Resources Consulting as guests for their upcoming user conference, to be held August 21, 2008, at Safeco Field in Seattle.

Seattle, WA (PRWEB) August 15, 2008 -- Hagel & Company (http://www.hagel.net), a leading provider of Sage Software's award-winning Sage Abra HRMS (human resource management system) since 1993, today announced Washington State Senator Karen Keiser and Lani Powell of Powell Human Resources Consulting as guests for their upcoming user conference, to be held August 21, 2008, at Safeco Field in Seattle. Part of Hagel & Company's ongoing commitment to fostering a community of Sage Abra users, the event will feature information sessions on Sage Abra, free time for users to exchange information with other users, dinner, and the opportunity to watch the Seattle Mariners play against the Oakland A's. The event starts with information sessions at 1:45 p.m. PST and lasts until the end of the baseball game.

State Senator Karen Keiser will host an educational session on Washington State's New Paid Family Leave Law, discussing the implications for both employees and employers. Lani Powell will lead a session called "Performance Management: The Strategic Advantage," discussing the importance of performance management practices and how to effectively implement those practices in an organization. Other guests include D. Colin Smith, a Network and Systems Engineer with Advances in Technology (AiT), a Seattle-area technology company, and Jessica Simmons, SPHR, MBA, the Vice President and General Manager for Sage Abra HRMS at Sage Software.

Full conference registration, including all sessions, dinner, and the baseball game, is $85 for the first attendee of a company, and $75 for each additional attendee from the same organization. Registrants interested in the afternoon sessions only, and not dinner or the game, can attend for $50 as the first individual in a company, or $40 as additional individuals.
