Continuing its commitment to the consumer marketplace and working with exceptional entrepreneurs, venture capital firm Maveron LLC today announced the addition of Amy J. Errett as a partner. Errett, who has been a founder as well as on the senior leadership teams of a number of entrepreneurial ventures, brings to the firm senior operating expertise in the digital media and ecommerce arenas. She will be based in San Francisco and will focus on consumer digital media, Internet services and e-commerce ventures.
Over recent years, Maveron has worked with a range of well-known consumer brands with a digital focus including eBay, drugstore.com, Capella University and Shutterfly. Other Maveron portfolio companies include VideoEgg, The Motley Fool, NextFoods and well-known consumer retail brands Potbelly Sandwich Works and Pinkberry.

A former Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for Northern California, Errett also founded The Spectrem Group, a M&A advisory firm that she sold to Interpublic Group, and was an officer and part of the senior management team at E*Trade. Errett currently serves on the boards of iBloks and LiveMocha.
