Educational seminar hosted by SPE Caribbean Section will focus on the benefits of an integrated approach to mold design and manufacturing.

The Caribbean section of the Society of Plastics Engineering will be holding an educational seminar featuring the latest advances in mold design and manufacturing processes and technologies.

Presented by tooling and manufacturing experts from Cimatron Technologies Inc., the seminar will provide attendees with a comprehensive overview of the integrated approach to mold design and manufacturing and the benefits that such an approach brings to product quality and speed of delivery.

HDI, Inc., a Puerto Rico-based plastic machinery consulting group, helped organize the event, which will be hosted at the Cayey facility of Nypro Puerto Rico. Presenters:

Hari Sridharan, VP of Engineering, Cimatron Technologies Inc.

Hari Sridharan joined the Cimatron team in 1999 and has been leading the Cimatron engineering team ever since. With 19 years of experience in the industry, Hari began his career supervising a CNC milling department at ISRO Satellite Centre in Bangalore, India. He was quickly promoted to Senior Supervisor and later acted as Senior Engineer and Scientist, while managing a tool room with 30 employees. Sridharan branched into the tooling industry when he joined Tool Matic of Malaysia. While in Malaysia, Hari also worked for Saeilo Japan as a CAD/CAM Application Engineer representing Cimatron software.

David Lindemann, Senior Application Engineer, Cimatron Technologies Inc.

Prior to joining Cimatron, Lindemann spent 14 years as an engineer in the tooling industry, where he was responsible for generating job quotations, tool and fixture designs, CNC programming, project engineering, and customer relations. During his 10 years with Cimatron, Lindemann has been assisting toolmakers identify and implement improved design and manufacturing processes.
