Katherine Bannon, founder of Bannon Enterprizes, recently launched a new venture in http://www.CharmsAndOther.com, a website that specializes in charms, pendants and various other jewelries. "I had been thinking about starting my own business for quite some time," explained Bannon. "It was just logical to do an online business as a person who has been shopping online for quite a few years. I find it convenient and far more efficient than driving to different locations."

Bannon landed on selling charms as a result of a gift she received from her daughter. "It was a beautiful locket that people have been commenting on," Bannon said. "I wear it everyday and they wanted to know where I got it. I decided that those gifts would be my focus. To be able to provide the same opportunity for others to obtain treasures is something I hold dear to my heart."

While Bannon is hoping to expand her children's jewelry collection, as well as add accessories and bracelets, she has also started a blog, http://www.CharmsAndOtherBlog.com. The blog is a companion site to her store and will have several pieces of useful information.

"We will be discussing the proper care of jewelry on the blog," began Bannon, "as well as the history of charms and other items of interest. We will also be doing research on such things as birthstones and myths."

The blog being used as an informational tool, Bannon also puts a great deal of attention and focus on the customer service aspect of her business. "Customer service is of the utmost importance," said Bannon. "I believe that if you can do something to make someone's day a little brighter, it's what you must do."

Bannon's selfless attitude shows in her actions as well. She is involved with the United Way Campaign. "Every little bit helps and I try to encourage others to do the same," she said.
