Andy Washington Joins lastminute.com
Leading online travel and leisure retailer lastminute.com has appointed former Cosmos Sales and Distribution Director Andy Washington to the newly created position of Sales Director - Travel.
Surrey, UK (PRWEB) August 17, 2008 -- Andy will be responsible for lastminute.com's business-to-consumer travel business, which includes the Flights, Hotels, Holiday (packages) and dynamic packaging teams.
He will work closely with the Lifestyle Sales Director and UK Marketing Director to develop a UK strategy and improve customer experience.
Andy will report directly into UK Managing Director John Bevan.
Washington joined Cosmos in 2001 as Trade Marketing Manager and quickly rose up the rank to his current position, which he was appointed to in 2004.
Bevan said: "Andy is an extremely well-known and respected professional in the travel industry and I am delighted he is joining lastminute.com. He is a great addition to an already strong team."
