Robert Scoble and Parnassus Group Team up to Host Third Annual "It Won't Stay in Vegas" Blogger Party at CES
Hundreds of bloggers and gadget enthusiasts to converge at Las Vegas shindig January 9, 2009.
Seattle, WA (PRWEB) August 27, 2008 -- The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is best known as the ultimate showcase of emerging consumer technologies, but insiders know that it's also a mecca for some of the most active denizens of the blogosphere. Robert ("Scobleizer") Scoble, Managing Director of Fast Company.TV, has teamed up with Social Media consultancy The Parnassus Group to produce the third annual "It Won't Stay in Vegas" blogger party.
The 2009 blogger bash will be held at the Atomic Testing Museum, a futuristic destination just a block off the strip on the evening of January 9, 2009 from 5-8pm.
"Since 2007, the 'It Won't Stay in Vegas' party has been one of the best spots to meet and mingle with some of the most prolific gadget bloggers," said Scoble. "The 2009 event should be the biggest and best one yet."
Last year's party drew over 100 consumer electronics bloggers together for free drinks and food while giving them a chance to wander through the open exhibits at the Atomic Testing Museum or meet with the party sponsors.
Live entertainment, creative lighting, free wi-fi, and multiple rooms will provide a mixture of atmospheres where the top gadget bloggers can post, explore, network, or learn.
Parnassus Group has been organizing blogger conferences and parties since 2004 and is the firm behind the acclaimed Blog Business Summit and Web Community Forum conferences. Other blogger parties they've conceived include the award-winning "Blogging the Stratosphere" event and the "Grapes on a Plane" celebration, both of which took bloggers to Washington wine country on sponsored private jets.
