Auto/Mate's new Kia Motors America interface has reduced the time we spend processing parts orders and warranty claims by almost 3 hours a day
Clifton Park, NY (PRWEB) August 18, 2008
Auto/Mate Dealership Systems announced today it has completed integration of its Automotive Management Productivity Suite (AMPS) with Kia Motors America's (KMA) web-based dealer service system. The system integration allows Kia retailers to electronically transmit warranty claims, new vehicle delivery information and parts orders/parts returns data directly from AMPS to KMA. It streamlines communications between the dealership and OEM, insures complete and accurate data is submitted to the manufacturer, and saves dealers valuable administrative time.
"Our new interface allows Kia retailers to quickly and easily input and transmit vital data to the manufacturer," said Mike Esposito, president of Auto/Mate. "Whenever and wherever we can help a dealer save time, we know we're improving their bottom line."
With Auto/Mate's new Kia Motors Service System interface, dealers can automatically process the following OEM reports:
- Warranty Claims -- Sends one or multiple claims per repair order, including recall campaign, pre-delivery inspection, warranty, replacement part and transportation claims. Includes note fields that can be used to summarize the customer complaint or situation and how it was corrected.
- Vehicle Delivery -- Dealers can submit vehicle delivery data (Deal #, Buyer Name, Sale Date, Year and Model) directly to KMA from AMPS' F&I Billing menu. Up to 999 deals can be submitted per transaction, saving dealers valuable time.
- Parts Order/Parts Returns -- Allows for easy entering and submission of parts orders and return data to KMA. Multiple parts orders can be input at one time with an option to choose which part orders to process.
"Auto/Mate's new Kia Motors America interface has reduced the time we spend processing parts orders and warranty claims by almost 3 hours a day," said Todd Neil, general manager of Garvey Volkswagen Kia in Queensbury, New York. "It's saved us quite a bit of work and is a cost-effective tool for any Kia dealership."
AMPS is an easy-to-use comprehensive dealership management system with over 20 integrated modules to help dealers more efficiently and effectively manage their business. It supports an unlimited number of users, workstations and printers, and can be implemented in any size dealership. AMPS is available as both a cost-effective in-house and ASP solution.
