The Oriental Rug Retailers of America, Inc. (ORRA) has chosen the New York City-based, award-winning PR consultancy "Daniel Kennedy Communications Services" for public relations and brand-identity marketing communications.

The award-winning Daniel Kennedy consultancy has wide-ranging national and international Public Relations expertise, including creating the 2006 name brand identity and PR launch of the now internationally recognized, socially conscious AfghanMark rug brand that certifies pay rates and working conditions for women who weave the carpets of Afghanistan.

The ORRA (http://www.orrainc.com) is a non-profit membership organization supporting Oriental rug retailers, wholesalers, importers and service-related companies. According to ORRA Executive Director Elizabeth Arnold, "The Oriental Rug Retailers of America organization was founded in 1969 to bring high standards and ethical practices to a business sector once fraught with itinerant sales and misinformation.
