They requested me to make those items for them and, in a short time, I had the opportunity to create a business."

Ever the self-starters, the Thoms make sure that their products - which range from fleece blankets to beds to pet bandanas - are designed at home and made locally. "I have designed all the products," explained Margot. "I select and procure the fabric. We use two outside sewing houses who manufacture all of our products locally."
