We are prepared to do our part to help facilitate our local community

As Tropical Storm Fay approaches hurricane strength heading towards the Tampa Bay area, Way Safe Florida Inc. announces free home delivery of the waterBOB™, a temporary water containment device that stores and dispenses fresh drinking water in the event of a hurricane or water emergency.

The waterBOB™ can be used in any standard bathtub and in less than 30 minutes stores up to 100 gallons of fresh drinking water. Water stored in an open bathtub, with dirt, soap film and exposure to debris will spoil and become hazardous.

In the event of a hurricane or tropical storm, water main breaks, power outages and flood conditions can contaminate or totally interrupt the supply of safe drinking water. Water stored in the waterBOB™ can be used for drinking, cooking, washing and sanitation and can supply more than enough water to keep a family of four safe for seven days.

To use the waterBOB™, simply lay the liner in any standard bathtub, attach the fill sock to the faucet and fill to capacity. A siphon pump is included to easily dispense the water into jugs or pitchers.

The waterBOB™ is constructed of a durable, heavy-duty 10 mil food grade plastic that is FDA compliant for food storage. The waterBOB™ can be purchased at or can be picked up at the Way Safe corporate office: 14175 Icot Blvd, Suite 250, Clearwater, FL.

"We are prepared to do our part to help facilitate our local community" said Dan Johnson, President of Way Safe Florida. "There are people in need that may not have a means of getting the water necessary to be properly prepared. We have several delivery teams standing by and we will continue to deliver for as long as we safely are able to do so. The other option for purchasing the waterBOB™ will be to come by our corporate offices until at least midnight tonight. The product will continue to be available through tomorrow, weather permitting".

Way Safe is offering free home delivery within Pinellas County. This convenient delivery method is to help with distribution of the waterBOB™ because of the limited supply in retail stores and is scheduled for August 18th and 19th only (weather permitting).

Call 1-800-988-8847 to schedule a delivery. The price of the waterBOB™ is $29.95, which includes sales tax and they accept credit card only.
