A unique interactive, relationship-building game called Kubit2me has earned the 2008 "Game of the Year" award from Creative Child Magazine.

Gaining national grass roots support from parents, educators and child development specialists, Kubit2me's innovative line of "toss it to me" self expression games were created to enable parents to connect with their children and children to connect with each other.

The three editions of Kubit2me games (Lil' Scholars, Truth or Dare and Now You're Talkin') are designed to entertain all ages and demographics as well as encourage positive social interaction, trust and empathy. Its engaging fun and fuzzy cube design connects kids and adults through socially-charged small or large group games that actually toss thought-provoking, and sometimes silly, questions from player to player.

"I heartily recommend Kubit2me as an interactive tool to promote social language skills," said Diane Nancarrow, a speech language pathologist who treats children with Autism at Kaufman Children's Center in West Bloomfield, MI. "Younger students enjoy the Lil' Scholars edition and can hardly wait to get their hands on the bright, soft surface. Older students enjoy the Now You're Talkin' edition. These colorful cubes are flexible tools to use with students aged 3 to 18. For teachers and clinicians working with typically developing children or a special needs population, this is a must have!"

Vanessa Van Petten, author and creator of OnTeensToday.com, plays the Truth or Dare and Now You're Talkin' editions with her teen clients and the families she coaches. "I really love to engage youth in intelligent conversations about values, ideals and goals. Many of the questions in the Kubit2me games get these ideas out in the open."

Kubit2me, Inc. President Mary Kay Russell is finding that tweens, teens, parents, educators and professionals alike have an overwhelmingly positive response.

"As a working mother of preteen and teenage boys, it's a challenge to find the time to have meaningful conversations with my kids, and more of a challenge to get them to open up," Gail Wajda said. "When we played Kubit2me Now You're Talkin', we all really listened to each other. Not only did we have a blast playing this game, but we also learned some interesting things about each other!"

Lil' Scholars (ages 3+) is an educational game designed to help preschoolers and kindergartners get a jump start on their basic language and math skills. Truth or Dare (ages 8+) is a provocative and hilarious spin-off to the classic sleepover party game made by girls and for girls. Now You're Talkin' (ages 10+) is a high-energy game of self-expression and social interaction for family and friends, in which questions focus on beliefs, opinions, relationships and memories.
