Adding to its renowned collection of hand-picked Italian wines, San Diego's preeminent luxury boutique hotel, The Keating, will be the foremost location to carry and serve the premiere Pininfarina Wine collection. Created in a collaboration between Mr. Paulo Pininfarina; President and CEO of Italian design powerhouse Pininfarina; and Mr. Aaron Heck; co-owner of wine producer Heck Estates, Pininfarina Wine will showcase a sampling of the very best wines from winegrowing regions worldwide. Every year a new wine-growing region will be showcased and added to the brand's offerings. As regions are selected and incorporated into the portfolio, there will be one common thread to them all; the wine will be the best expression of the most celebrated varietal from each unique appellation.

Continuously providing San Diego with the finest and latest in hospitality services and goods, the Keating Hotel was sure to be first in line for the Pininfarina Wine collection. "From our hotel's unique, contemporary Italian design, to the Minus 1 Lounges exclusive vault of Pininfarina selected Italian wines; past experience has proven that the Pininfarina brand is of the highest quality and acclaim" said Edward Kaen, owner of the Keating Hotel. The Pininfarina Wine collection will add to the Keating Hotels already established and expanding portfolio of exceptional brands. "Our goal is to ensure the city of San Diego is being provided with the world's finest in luxury living goods and services" said Kaen.

This year the Keating Hotel will offer the inaugural release of Pininfarina Wine which will take ones palate on a journey through the rolling green hills of Napa, California and showcase some of the most elegant Cabernet Sauvignon that is grown in the world. With Italy as the next featured wine-growing region, the Keating Hotel will be sure to provide San Diego locals and visitors alike with the first tastes of the world's greatest wines for years to come.

About the Keating Hotel and Keating Hotel Group:
The 35-room Keating Hotel, the Keating Hotel Group's (TKHG) first hotel and lounge prototype located in an historic building in the heart of San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter, made headlines with its sleek red, black and stainless steel décor when it came on the scene, marking the first foray into the world of hotel design for Italian design house Pininfarina (well known as the exclusive designers of Ferrari and Maserati). But more than having the finest combination of premier location, cutting-edge design, and the highest level of true personalized service, the boutique hotel is also setting new standards in San Diego by being environmentally friendly.

Set to expand the Keating Hotel by Pininfarina brand worldwide, The Keating Hotel Group (TKHG) is comprised of a well-seasoned group of real estate professionals collected for the purpose of launching, developing and operating a unique, highly stylized, full-service boutique hotel brand. While the term "boutique hotel" has, of late, become somewhat of a diluted, over-used term in the hospitality sector, the privately operated and managed TKHG is poised to set the new standard for true high-end boutique hotels throughout the world. Primarily due to the exclusive partnership with its design team---world-famous Italian powerhouse Pininfarina, as well as its intense focus on personalized, high-end service, TKHG has sparked the interest of hospitality insiders, aficionados, and the worldwide media, alike.
