Electra, a new high-rise residential tower by Bosa Development in downtown San Diego, has recorded a total of 40 sales to out-of-state buyers including 10 sales to buyers from Canada and Mexico. The largest portion of out-of-state sales were to buyers from Arizona with the second largest out-of-state buyer group coming from Nevada. Out-of-state and international buyer interest in the project points to downtown San Diego's popularity as a world-class destination.

Proving its international appeal, Electra, Bosa Development's residential landmark of fashionable townhomes and premier penthouses in downtown San Diego, has reported a whopping 40 sales to out-of-state buyers including 10 sales to buyers from Canada and Mexico.

Arizona buyers accounted for the largest portion of out-of-state sales with ten homes being snapped up by Zonies. Nevada followed in a close second with five buyers. The rest of the out-of-state sales were shared among 11 states spread across the country.

"With buyers from Hawaii to New York and from Texas to North Dakota, Electra is now home to folks from every corner of the U.S., plus Mexico and Canada" said Nat Bosa, founder and Bosa Development CEO. "I've always believed downtown San Diego was a world-class destination and the immense demand from out-of-state and international buyers is only confirmation."

Sales at the 248-unit Electra tower have been incredibly strong with only a limited selection of 60 homes still available. The majority of these sales were made without the benefit of model homes or an on-site sales center, explained Bosa.

"Buyers to date, whether from San Diego, Arizona or beyond, were captivated by the project from the virtual home tour alone. Now that four professionally designed model homes are open within the tower, buyers can the view the stylish residences and experience the luxurious feel of Electra's five-star amenities for themselves," said Bosa.

Electra's recently opened model homes, three two-bedroom models and one penthouse, are currently available for viewing. A new on-site sales office has moved into the tower and is located in a three-floor townhome.

Presenting a whole new level in luxurious urban living, the 43-story Electra building offers incomparable views of the San Diego skyline and homes with the highest-quality finishes and details. Among the first-class appointments enjoyed by all homes are hardwood flooring in a variety of finishes, full-height windows with roller shade window coverings and generously sized balconies perfect for outdoor entertaining or private relaxation. Pricing for a two-bedroom unit starts at $549,000 while the penthouse starts at $2.4 million.

Electra's many amenities mean residents here have plenty of options to choose from for both relaxation with friends or active recreation. Its 5th floor exercise facility is well-appointed with a relaxing sauna and steam room, while a rooftop lap pool, barbecue area with glowing fireplace and landscaped courtyard create an outside oasis for sun worshipers. The ground floor social lounge, boasting impressive 60-foot ceilings and topped by an illuminating skylight, provides multiple seating areas, fireplace, flat screen televisions and a full catering-level kitchen.
