Stereofame, the world's first Online Social Music Game, announces their inaugural Artist of the Month contest, taking another step toward revolutionizing the interactive relationship between music artists and fans.
The innovative social gaming site where it's all about "the music, the fame and the game," Stereofame provides emerging musicians the opportunity to be seen and heard by fans of music all over the world. It blends music, online competition and targeted product offerings in a hip and wildly popular format. Great songs are recognized through listener voting and listeners are rewarded for finding new talent. The more points the artists and listeners earn, the more they can cash in for killer rewards like Apple 3G iPhones®, Gibson guitars and Nintendo® Wii™ bundles.
The Artist of the Month contest is the hottest tool for independent talent to gain international exposure, get serious constructive written reviews and win a $1,000 cash prize. Monthly winners qualify for the upcoming Artist of the Year contest, where $5,000 is up for grabs, along with greater exposure. There's also a competition for the listeners where the more votes they post, the more chances they have at a 10,000 points prize!
And it's all happening RIGHT NOW.
Artists enter by submitting up to three songs by August 31st. Between September 1st and September 8th, the songs are judged by the Stereofame members/fans using a music review form that follows the model expert reviewers use every day. The entries are judged on music, creativity, originality, melody, lyrics (where applicable), musicianship, arrangement, production, marketability and lead vocal (where applicable). The top 10 scoring artists are then submitted to an impressive expert Judges Panel with a variety of music industry backgrounds. The winner for August will be announced September 12th.
It's an exciting time to be an artist and a fan, especially at Stereofame, where they both get exactly what they deserve. The chance to have a voice and to have it be heard.
