Distribution Video and Audio (DVA) (http://www.dva.com), one of the largest buyers of excess video and audio inventory in the United States and a leading entertainment wholesale company, will be celebrating its 20th year of business operation throughout the month of September 2008.

DVA is a family-owned and operated business that started in 1988 selling used videos for new store openings to video rental chains, such as Hollywood Video and Blockbuster Video. Back then DVA sold 100,000 units a year; today the company has an account base of more than 350 companies, including Best Buy, Target, F.Y.E. and Circuit City, selling more than 20,000,000 units per year and generating over $20+ million in annual sales. DVA operates offices in Los Angeles, CA and Palm Harbor, FL.

DVA now operates across four divisions: Library and Government Sales (http://www.dvalibrary.com); Wholesaling (http://www.distributionvideo.com); Non Media Closeouts (http://www.dvaspecial.com); and Consumers and Special Markets (http://www.dvaspecial.com).

In contrast to DVA's liquidating and wholesaling, DVA's Special Markets division is specially designed and staffed to provide the very best inventory, prices and service to mid- to small-sized general, specialty retailers and Internet retailers and resellers. Special Markets now has over 10,000 titles, and has expanded its customer base to include every type of bricks and mortar retailer from Museum Stores to Dollar Stores, on-line web site retailers, home-based on-line sellers and even flea market vendors.

"It's a tremendous accomplishment for any firm to be in business for over 20 years," said Ryan Kugler, President of Distribution Video and Audio. "Our achievements are even more significant when you examine the context of the entertainment industry and the radical changes that have taken place within it over the last 20 years. We even outlasted VHS!"

"Our business has expanded and grown tremendously in the last 20 years and we are proud to be working with the biggest names in entertainment production and retail, across music, books, film and videogames. DVA is excited to continue providing the very best service to our clients, and we look forward to our next 20 years of business!" concluded Kugler.
