Columbus, OH (PRWEB) August 22, 2008 -- Safeware, The Insurance Agency, Inc. announced a new individual program today that offers an a la carte approach to electronics insurance for laptops, desktops, tablet PCs and other devices.
Accidental Damage is the #1 cause of loss.
Labeled their 'Mobile Electronics Policy', the program offers a variety of customizable options including type of coverage, deductible, and coverage area (domestic or international).
Safeware Insurance policies have typically provided full coverage; which includes accidental damage and theft protection. The Mobile Electronics policy allows a customer to select from an Accidental Damage Plan, a Theft Plan, or a Full Coverage Plan. All policies will also continue to provide coverage for fire, flood, vandalism, power surge & various forms of natural disasters. This allows customers who have Accidental Damage Coverage through their devices' manufacturer to obtain Theft Protection at a much lower cost, and ensures their equipment is fully protected in the event of a burglary or theft.
In addition to coverage options, the Mobile Electronics Policy also allows customers to choose their deductible. Options range from $0 to $500 per incident.
