Developed using years of hand-on training with physicians and academically peer reviewed results, the book provides the only scientifically proven method for effective, sustainable, and compliant physician clinical documentation training. A Compelling Case for Clinical Documentation is available at http://www.acompellingcase.com.

Russo's interventional research study, on which the book is based, was nominated for Best Theory to Practice by the Academy of Management (2008). In Volume 1 you will learn to use patient records to achieve strategic alignment with your medical staff to improve patient care and ensure accurate reimbursement and quality ratings. Volume 2 of A Compelling Case for Clinical Documentation provides resources to train your medical staff using the CAMP™ Method for physician clinical documentation training.

The book defines high quality clinical documentation (HQCD) as documentation that is timely, as well as legible, complete, reliable, clear, consistent (unambiguous), and precise. The CAMP™ Method is a four-part training process that uses the following four steps, along with various multi-media resources to train physicians in HQCD:

  •     Coaching
  •     Asking
  •     Mastering
  •     Peer Learning

Additional information regarding the CAMP™ Method is available online at http://www.acompellingcase.com
