Beacon Street Girls Go Global; New Partner Translates First Two Books in Series into Portuguese

B*tween Productions, Inc., home of the Beacon Street Girls®, today announced that the Beacon Street Girls book series has for the first time been translated into another language. Editora Fundamento has translated the first two books of the popular tween series into Portuguese and released the books in Brazil.

The books are following the lead of our Web site, which has visitors from around the world. Often girls meet the BSG online and only later realize that there are books too. Brazil is the first of many new book markets for us.

Editora Fundamento is one of the fastest growing publishers in Brazil. The company produces a wide variety of books, both fiction and nonfiction, and has translated many other American children's books, such as Emily Rodda's Deltora series and R.L. Stine's Goosebumps series.
