The expansion into Scottsdale will enable the company to better serve clients throughout Arizona.

When mediation is used, divorcing couples do not have to surrender control of their lives to an attorney or judge

Out of Court Solution is expanding its ability to help couples with mediated divorces in Arizona. When the company's third office opens its doors in Scottsdale on Sept. 1, 2008, area residents will be able to take advantage of the services that have proven effective for divorcing couples in Phoenix and Tempe for more than a decade.

The 8350 E. Raintree Drive, Suite A-205, office will provide the same services that have been offered in Phoenix and Tempe for years. This means couples can obtain professional assistance to take some of the sting and expense out of divorce and opting out of enlisting the services of the typical divorce lawyer in Phoenix.

"Divorce can be a sticky, painful undertaking," said Oliver Ross, JD, PhD. "It doesn't have to be 'messy,' however. When couples take advantage of divorce mediation services, they can iron out many of their differences in advance of court hearings, saving themselves time, money and heartache in the process."

Out of Court Solutions has proven itself with Phoenix mediation and in the Tempe region. The expansion into Scottsdale will enable the company to better serve clients throughout Arizona, said Ross, who is also the organization's founder.

"We are very pleased that we will soon be able to offer our services to couples in the Scottsdale region," Ross said. "When it is at all feasible, mediation simply makes sense to save families the misery a long, drawn out court-based divorce can produce."

Ross explained that divorce mediation helps couples come to terms with all the legal issues involved in the breakup of a marriage. Rather than give a court the ability to dictate finances, property division, childcare placement and other important issues, mediation lets both parties come to the table with expert assistance to agree in advance of hearings.

"When mediation is used, divorcing couples do not have to surrender control of their lives to an attorney or judge," Ross said. "Our mediators have the financial, business, psychological and legal expertise to help couples make informed decisions in a less stressful environment."

When mediation is successful, both parties walk away from the table with agreements they can live with. The most important feature of mediation is that agreements are derived by couples themselves with assistance from professional, non-biased mediators. This means the parties decide the outcome, rather than lawyers or judges.

The Scottsdale office will officially open its doors Sept. 1, 2008. For more information about Out of Court Solutions and their expansion, contact Ross at (602) 404-1500 or visit http://www.outofcourtsolutions.com.
