Wood most recently served as the lead nurse injector at Belle Vie MedSpa in Lexington, Ky., where she promoted the practice to BOTOX® Platinum status and to one of the top 10 accounts in the Indianapolis, Cincinnati and Louisville territory.
Wood gained her master's degree in nursing from Vanderbilt University in 2002 and has become an active member of the Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists, Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health and the American Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses.
An experienced nurse practitioner in plastic and reconstructive surgery, Wood implements advanced injection techniques to add volume to lips, cheeks and the mid-facial area. Wood is skilled with cosmetic experience using Botox® and fillers, primarily Restylane, Perlane and Juvéderm. Additionally, Wood is skillfully trained in Fraxel Laser treatments, Sclerotherapy, chemical peels, dermabrasion and mineral makeup application.
