We get to talk to people who love the outdoors as much as we do.

For nearly six decades, Burnham Brothers has become an American institution for creating predator calling devices. In 1991, Gary and Deb Roberson purchased the company and successfully ushered the brand into the digital age with their signature device, the Compucaller, the first digital caller. Since then, the Robersons have taken the Burnham name online (http://www.BurnhamBrothers.com) and expanded the product line.
"Many of the products that we have on our site were built back in the 50's," said Gary Roberson of their product expansion. "It's difficult to change something that is working well. Of course, we add new products from time-to-time as we develop them."
In 2004, Burnham Brothers released a second generation model of their digital caller, the Compucaller II, which improves upon the earlier version by offering radio remote capabilities. At the moment, the Robersons are planning yet another revamp of their Compucaller line.
"We're coming out now with our third generation caller that is remote controlled," explained Roberson. "It will also have other features that have never been available on a game caller before. People will be able to use that caller to lure predators, as well as game like elk or turkeys. It's a tool that enables hunters to bring the animal closer for hunting or photography purposes."
Also part of their expansion, the Burnham brand now carries an exclusive blog, http://www.PredatorCallBlog.com. "Primarily, I will be using the blog to educate people on calling and luring animals to them. It's a rapidly growing sport - in fact, it's the fastest growing shooting sport today," said Roberson. "I'll be educating these people to make them a more effective caller. From time-to-time I will be testing various products for other companies that are in the hunting game."
Hunting enthusiasts have nothing to worry about when logging onto http://www.BurnhamBrothers.com - the company has nearly 60 years of success to show for it, and Roberson himself has over 40 years of hunting experience under his belt. "What I love best about this business is that the folks that we interact with and that we get to talk about hunting," lamented Roberson. "We get to talk to people who love the outdoors as much as we do."
