Barack Obama Depicted in New Silver Coin from Vision Trading Partners
A new silver medal coin from Nevada company Vision Trading Partners depicts the bust of Barack Obama, commemorating the senator's historic run for the presidency. Each 39-millimeter medal is made of one ounce of silver.
Las Vegas, Nevada (PRWEB) August 29, 2008 -- A silver medal coin depicting presidential candidate Barack Obama is now available from Vision Trading Partners. Vision Trading Partners offers this piece as a tribute to Obama's historic nomination as the Democratic candidate for president of the United States.

The reverse design of the silver medal depicts an American eagle, while the obverse depicts the bust of Obama encircled by legends -- United States of America along the upper rim and Obama 2008 along the lower rim. Eight stars flank Obama, symbolizing the year 2008.
Robinson designed the obverse of the medal and Ken Potter designed the reverse. The medal's die was hand engraved by Brian Timmins of Landmark Engraving.
Each historic Obama silver medal coin measures 39 millimeters in diameter and weighs one ounce of silver. All medals are deep cameo proofs struck by Sunshine Minting of Idaho. The medals are being offered encapsulated in slabs for $100 each.
