Dallas, TX (PRWEB) August 30, 2008
Dr. Bill Johnson's Innovations MedSpa, a leader in the medspa industry that offers many of the latest innovations in the U.S., announced it is offering the Brazilian Lift to North Texans.
Candidates for the Brazilian Lift include individuals who have lost weight, would like to add contour to their bodies, or would simply like to have a fuller buttock area. Brazilian Lift is performed as an in-office procedure and can result in a fuller, rounder behind.
Both the area from which the fat is harvested and the treatment site are anesthetized with a tumescent anesthetic. Using a small needle attached to a syringe, fat is harvested from a donor site where your fat is most tightly packed, such as your abdomen or your inner thighs.
Once removed, the fat is processed to remove excess fluids and then reinjected using another needle, which is placed just under your skin. This process may be repeated until the desired correction has been achieved.
Harvesting the fat cells for reinjection is often performed in conjunction with other procedures, such as SmartLipo and Vaser in areas different from the harvest sites.
"It's all about moving the fat from where you don't want it to be, and placing it somewhere that you do," said Dr. Johnson, owner of Innovations MedSpa. "We now have over a 70% survival rate for the harvested fat cells, and that means a much better result that will last."
Innovations MedSpa is currently taking pre-booking from patients who would like to be on a waiting list for the procedure. Dr. Johnson has been trained in the newest techniques.
