The Talent Assessment business of Pearson today announced the addition of John Maketa as National Sales Director, and Heather Ishikawa and Doreen Miri as Senior Business Development Managers.

Leveraging extensive experience in sales and sales management of behavioral performance assessments as well as management, training, consulting, and leadership effectiveness, Maketa will develop and implement sales strategies for the company throughout North America.

“John’s leadership ability and solid industry experience made him the market leader for this position,” said Green.

Prior to joining Pearson, Maketa served as Divisional Director of Sales at CPP, Inc. where he was responsible for business development and service delivery for the company’s largest territory of 25 states. During his nine-year tenure at CPP, Inc., Maketa consistently exceeded annual sales and revenue goals.

In addition, Ishikawa and Miri will play an integral role in expanding the company’s current customer base. They also join Pearson from CPP, Inc. and offer extensive professional experience in organizational development, staffing, training, succession planning, and competency development. As Senior Business Development Managers, Ishikawa and Miri will be responsible for growing business by helping customers select Pearson assessments and solutions that best meet their talent management objectives.
