Magician Makes Candle Website Appear on the Internet
WizardCraft Technologies' webstore, WizardCandles.com, is home to several unique designs of handmade candles - all of which are made by Stanley Morey II and his partner. The store has recently launched a blog, www.WizardCandlesBlog.com.
Sacramento, CA (PRWEB) August 30, 2008 -- Stanley Morey II may be a magician, but his business didn't appear instantly. Morey founded WizardCraft Technologies in 1987 after he made some candles for the Celtic celebration of Imbolc. "Traditionally, we make candles all night long and those are the candles that we are to burn all year. But the candles were odd sized and I was frustrated with them," said Morey. "The company started out of a necessity to get a candle to fit in a candlestick holder."
Morey spent copious amounts of time researching different methods of candlemaking and when he relocated to his current homebase of California, he started anew. "Over the first two years of rebooting the company, I was relearning the tricks of the trade," explained Morey. "We started buying the proper equipment. My partner and I are the only staff here. Everything is detail oriented."
The details show in candles that are featured on WizardCraft's webstore, www.WizardCandles.com. According to Morey, everything they do is handmade, which makes each candle unique.
Another unique attribute of WizardCraft is their direct interaction with their customers. "I'm very big on being on the phone and talking to a customer. We try to get it right the first time. If it's not right, send it back and we'll make it right. Customer service is a high priority," said Morey.
Part of their customer interaction is the launch of their blog, www.WizardCandlesBlog.com. "The blog will help customers know about candles and we can answer any questions they have," Morey said.
"We want people to know why our candles burn better than others. People say they're too pretty to burn - buy two," he added jokingly.
If there's anything to not joke about, however, it's the quality and affordability of the candles on www.WizardCandles.com. Morey's candles contain intricate Celtic knot works and his passion for magic and the arts really shows in his products, which is a fact that no magician can disappear.
