New York, NY and Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) September 3, 2008
Inc. magazine announced that nParallel is No. 2363 on the 2008 Inc. 5000 ranking of the fastest growing private companies in the country. nParallel is one of 362 companies in the Advertising & Marketing industry category that made this year's list. The Inc. 5000 is the most comprehensive look at a vital segment of U.S. business: the top private corporations that are achieving robust growth in today's tough economy. nParallel, a brand communication and merchandising strategy agency headquartered in Minneapolis, Minn., attained its ranking with a three-year growth rate of 156 percent. The firm designs, builds and manages retail and tradeshow displays that convey and advance its clients' brands.
"Our second annual Inc. 5000 continues the most ambitious project in business journalism," said Jim Melloan, Inc. 5000 project manager. "The Inc. 5000 gives an unrivalled portrait of young, under-reported companies across all industries that are doing fascinating things with cutting-edge business models, as well as older companies that are still showing impressive growth."
"nParallel offers an uncommon combination of strategic brand interpretation, inspired design, efficient manufacturing and outstanding account services," said Megan Diamond, co-founder and president of nParallel. "That's why retail and tradeshow displays by nParallel power up brands, captivate customers and increase sales."
"The secret to our sales success is simple," said Don Gonse, co-founder and nParallel's executive vice president, business development. "nParallel is growing because we boost our clients' growth."
The 2008 Inc. 5000 ranks companies by their three-year sales revenue growth from 2004 through 2007. To qualify, companies had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent (not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies) as of December 31, 2007. They had to have achieved at least $200,000 in revenue in 2004 and $2 million in 2007. The median three-year growth rate for the Inc. 5000 is 147 percent. The cut-off for this year's 5000 was a 40 percent three-year growth rate. Women are the top executives of 15 percent of Inc. 5000 corporations.
