We make it a point to understand the unique advantages of online education in helping entrepreneurs acquire the skills in raising capital and opening up markets. Our new website provides for all firms, minority or non-minority firms, access to these educational tools.
Tucson, AZ (PRWEB) September 2, 2008
In a recently released report titled, CHARACTERISTICS OF MINORITY BUSINESSES AND ENTREPRENEURS, Ronal N. Langston, National Director of the office of Minority Business Development Agency for the U.S. Department of Commerce said, "Minority business enterprises are an engine of employment growth and economic expansion in America. As minority businesses grow in size, scale, and capacity, so does the American economy."
Networker's Resource Center (NRC) today announced the launching of its new website to serve minority businesses as well as work-at-home entrepreneurs, individuals and business professionals.
Within the MBEA report it is highlighted that minority firms are more likely to export their products compared to non-minority businesses because minority firms are uniquely positioned to export products due, in part, to multilingual skills and cultural familiarity.
The report also reveals that these businesses face difficulties with professional education and capital access. Past reports show that more than half of all minority business are started from home.
NRC was developed specifically to provide all business professionals access to the same quality of training, advertising, marketing and business development tools available to global companies. Shannon Lavenia, founder of the Networker's Resource Center said, "We make it a point to understand the unique advantages of online education in helping entrepreneurs acquire the skills in raising capital and opening up markets. Our new website provides for all firms, minority or non-minority firms, access to these educational tools."
Minority respondent firms are less likely to have businesses and other organizations among their customer base compared to non-minority firms. Therefore, market access and access to other non-minority businesses provided by the NRC website could affect helping minority businesses expand their business with non-minority firms. Conversely, NRC provides non-minority firms access to minority firms.
