The newly launched website eGreenLite.com, aims at competing with leading auction portals using a new strategy. Visitors to the website will be able to post auction listings for a small listing price of just one dollar each.
What makes eGreenLite.com unique besides the low cost listing fee is that auctions run until the item sells, if the seller chooses. There is absolutely no limit to how long an auction runs. Sellers are able to sell their product until the reserve is met or a bid is made for the listing price. This creates a unique forum for entrepreneurs and online sellers who choose to do business in this medium.
eGreenLite.com was created due to the high fees of competitor sites and the commission they charge on top of the initial listing fee. "One Fee, Sells It!" is our motto. Therefore no commissions on sales are tacked onto auctioned items regardless of the selling price.
Sellers at the website have the option of either utilizing a "Standard Auction" or a "Dutch Auction" for their products. "Dutch Auctions" allow for people to sell the same item they have a quantity of to multiple people based on the inventory they list.
Visitors to the website also have the ability to interact with one another through an online message board to discuss buying and selling of items at auction. This greatly enhances the interactivity to users. Buyers and sellers are also able to leave feedback on transactions taken place through the site, enabling people to rate each other based on their experience.
Users to the website will feel secure when paying for a listing as PayPal.com will be used as the payment processor. This decision was made due to the large number of people who currently utilize the service on a daily basis for business. This enables people to pay for a listing via credit card, debit card and checks.
eGreenLite.com is the brainchild of founder Mary Huskey who has utilized auction websites on a frequent basis. Founder Mary Huskey teamed up with website developer William Tucker of Selectology.com to develop the portal and assist with marketing. As a single mother who markets products online, she's viewed this as the next logical step for selling her products and contributing to others involved in auctioning and selling products online. As a single parent, her goal is to keep the website family friendly.
