The new M&A professionals provide added expertise to the core team in Southern California. David DuWaldt joins the Los Angeles area office and John Klearman joins the San Diego office. For the past twenty-five years, David DuWaldt's transaction expertise has been focused on mergers and acquisitions for privately held companies with an emphasis on manufacturing, wholesale distribution, real estate, construction/engineering, and business services. David has been a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 1980 and a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) since 1998. He has a significant amount of training and experience in taxation, business valuation, business negotiations and financial management.
John Klearman brings extensive M&A experience to CFA, gained from the perspective both as an entrepreneur and as an advisor. In recent years his focus has been on successfully helping a multitude of clients maximize business value in sell-side transactions. He has successfully represented M&A clients in the healthcare, software technology, environmental sciences, and financial services sectors.
