Online Children's Picture Book Reading & Creating Website Is Named Outstanding Family Product for 2008

Big Universe, a unique website dedicated to high-quality children's picture books, has won the iParenting Media Award for being an "Outstanding Product of 2008." Big Universe was given the award in the Website category.

iParenting, part of the Disney Internet Group, is an award-winning network of more than 40 websites devoted to the family through its entire lifecycle, from preconception through the teenage years.

The reviewers are a diverse set of parents, experts, licensed childcare centers, and schools from throughout the United States. The products deemed best in the marketplace are honored with the iParenting Media Award, which is considered one of today's more prestigious consumer awards. In addition, the winners are promoted to consumers and trade professionals, including retailers, through the Disney Internet Group websites, videos, podcasts, and radio show.
