Longtime Jewelry Fan Takes Product to Internet with New Website
For the last eight months, Angela Grabowski transformed her hobby of part-time jewelry seller into a business with her website www.DesignerJewelryCreations.com. While most websites have gaudy overpriced pieces, Grabowski's website specializes in beautiful, yet affordable, jewelry.
Bushkill, PA (PRWEB) September 4, 2008 -- Unlike most of her Internet peers, Angela Grabowski didn't wake up one day and decide to start peddling her wares immediately. Her new web store, www.DesignerJewelryCreations.com, is something that she was building up to. "For many years, I have been buying and selling jewelry," Grabowski said. "I sold at flea markets and other locations. Eventually I started selling on eBay in 2002."
Grabowski's gradual climb from niche jewelry seller to an internet savvy jeweler, but it all began with her longtime fandom for rings and things: "I've been a of lover for jewelry forever and it's something I do as a hobby. I want to share these selections with the world and maybe bring a little joy into peoples' lives."
The joy was fully realized in a flurry of HTML codes when Grabowski's website launched in January 2008. Since then, she's been able to build up her stock to approximately 500 pieces with plans for more.
"What I would like to do is expand my product line to at least a thousand products," said Grabowski. "I'm selling quality pieces at affordable prices and there should be a wide selection for people to choose from."
Grabowski's expertise in jewelry is apparent in the quality of her products on her site and with her blog, she hopes to let people in on the knowledge that a professional has stirring inside.
"I'll be writing about different pieces of jewelry like cubic zirconia and sterling silver and discussing how they're made. I want to give people knowledge about jewelry that will enhance their feelings about the product and themselves when they wear them," explained Grabowski when asked about www.AboutDesignerJewelry.com, her blog.
While her website barrels towards its first year of existence, Angela Grabowski doesn't shy away from the fact that the economic climate isn't what it once was, and for that, she hopes that people will see exactly how great her jewelry and prices are.
"I'm a working person and I understand that people like to look and feel good," she said. "I know some people can't afford expensive jewelry, especially now, but if I can bring them jewelry that is affordable and attractive, then I'm doing something for the everyday working girl."
