Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) September 4, 2008
The 2008 Green Summit kicks off this week at the Phoenix Convention Center where Widefield Technology Inc. will be an exclusive presenter of in-home display technology with it's innovative new product, the Energy Optimization System™ (EOS).
EOS™ is a "greening" system…comprised of the EOS™ Energy Assistant, a self-installed, hand-held, wireless, home energy monitor and control device with a suite of optional "smart" fixtures that give consumers control of their electric spending and environmental impact. The EOS™ displays energy usage and the impact of that usage on the environment while providing the tools to breakdown home energy usage into more manageable segments; including features that allow the consumer to monitor and control individual appliances and lighting using "smart" switches, dimmers, and outlets. As important is the ease of use and ease of installation. The fixtures are easy to install and look like standard off the self fixtures. As a system, it is comparable to high-end home automation systems without the rewiring hassles. An added innovative component of the system is EEK, the Efficiency Evaluation Keeper designed by Widefield Tech's collaborative partner CityGrow Technology, Inc., which collects data from the "smart" fixtures to quantify the consumer's current usage, learn patterns of usage, make recommendations to improve energy efficiency, and, most importantly, execute those recommendations with the push of a button or prescheduled thresholds.
EOS™ will be featured at the Green Innovations Expo, an exclusive section of the expo featuring green products and services representing the latest in sustainable solutions. The Green Summit will play host to 10,000 plus attendees, ranging from the average consumer to engineers and government officials from across the Southwest, seeking innovative green solutions for a more sustainable world.
